When I had the use of my first digital camera I started by photographing flowers and frogs in my backyard. This led to my first calendar, for 2004, appropriately called Buck’s Backyard. Every year since I have produced a calendar celebrating the flora and fauna of our beautiful region in Tropical North Queensland. Most of my clients are local businesses - for whom I customise each calendar with their details - but I do provide calendars for personal use too. Some of my photos have been taken around the region but by far the majority have been taken either in our own backyard or inside our home. Yes, we do have many natural visitors.
