Moth Air Balloons
Designs created by Buck Richardson from original photographs of moths taken at home in the rainforest of Kuranda in Tropical North Queensland Australia. There is a limited edition of 75 prints for each design (unless otherwise stated). The size is up to you as is the medium onto which the image is printed. I only print on demand. This is one of the advantages of digital printing. Price is determined by these factors so let’s have a chat. If you are interested in purchasing a print for personal pleasure, as a gift for someone special or as a potential retail outlet please email me at: info@leapfrogoz.com.au

New prints just released
Recently I noticed an article in The Australian newspaper dealing with the influence of Islamic design and decoration on Western artists. The accompanying photographs held great resonance with some of the designs I had worked on, so, I checked it all out on the net. I found that The Ardabil carpet forms the centre-piece of the new Jameel Gallery of Islamic Art at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. This most famous of Persian carpets apparently has been the subject of endless copies ranging in size from small rugs to full-scale carpets. There is an ‘Ardabil’ at 10 Downing Street and even Hitler had an ‘Ardabil’ in his office in Berlin. My two latest designs were inspired by The Ardabil Carpet.

The two versions of The Mothology of the 16th century Ardabil Carpet will have a limited edition of 100 prints each. As above, price is determined by the size and the medium onto which the image is printed.

And just in time for my show, Playing Cards is MOTHerland Orbit, which also has a limited edition of 100 prints. I had my artist’s proof printed on fine art canvas using Giclee and my framer said it looked ‘superb’.
